myPage web site editor

Snipe myPage edits multi-file web site projects in your browser. Each HTML page keeps its own title and body content; site-wide meta tags are shared across all pages. Download bundles the whole site as a ZIP including mypage-project.json and site-globals.xml.

Project manifest (`mypage-project.json`)

Every site ZIP includes this file at the root. When you open the ZIP again, myPage reads it to restore:

files: complete list of paths and types the project expects
siteMeta.contact: phone, email, address, and site identity fields
siteMeta.social: all social-* profile tags
siteMeta.technical: charset, robots, cache-control, author, copyright, hreflang, and related technical tags
siteMeta.custom: optional extra global meta or link tags
ui: folder list, navigation pane, and last view settings

site-globals.xml in the project root is the shared store for all site-wide meta: technical, contact, social, and custom tags. Every global tag manager reads and writes through this file (and the manifest). When you add a new HTML page, myPage copies all globals into its <head> automatically.

If a listed file is missing from the ZIP, myPage warns you. Site meta from the manifest is written back into every HTML page on open.

Open from the Legacy Start Center. myPage uses HTML 4 menus and classic JavaScript.

Templates (File → New from Template) create multi-page sites with top or side HTML menus, or HTML 4 framesets (Banner and Contents, Contents Frame, Header/Footer/Contents, Vertical Split). View → Navigation Pane builds a link tree from <a href> tags across pages.

Modern channel (modern Start Center)

Open from the Modern Start Center. myPage adds web authoring tools on top of the legacy feature set.

Views (both channels)

Design: WYSIWYG editing for HTML pages. Format text, insert images, tables, and links visually.
Code: Edit raw HTML, CSS, or XML. Modern channel adds code hints as described above.
Preview: Static HTML and CSS preview in a sandboxed pane. Upload the site to your web host to test live pages.

Insert image and accessibility

Insert → Insert Image asks for alt text (required) and an optional longer description. Clipart inserts from the gallery include alt text in the dialog. See Clipart gallery.

Site tools (both channels)

Navigation Pane: Tree of internal links across all HTML pages.
Generate Site Map: Creates sitemap.xml and sitemap.html.
Generate robots.txt: Creates a starter robots.txt.
.htaccess Rules (modern): Creates Apache SEO redirects and URL rules. See .htaccess guide.
Generate Error Pages (modern): Creates 404.html, 410.html, 500.html, 503.html. See error pages guide.
Site Map Preview: Preview the HTML site map inside myPage.
Preview in Browser: Opens static preview in a new window.
Check Links (modern channel): Validates internal links across the project.

Publish your site. Use Download Site (ZIP), then upload the files to your web host. Clipart image URLs point at the Cloud Art/ folder when the site is served from the same tree.
